You want some exoticism this morning too?
That’s good, I have everything it takes to prepare a great breakfast that will make us travel straight under the coconut trees. And it’s kind of a nice projection for a month in December.
I discovered not long ago the pink Pitaya or more commonly called ” dragon fruit “. This beautiful fruit is not so easy to find, and this one is really special: it is pink!
And no, you’re not dreaming, today our healthy breakfast is a naturally pungent pink ! It’s thanks to the Pink Pitaya. This super fruit is rich in antioxidants, its regular consumption will thus allow you to slow down the cellular ageing for all the cells of the body (and in particular your skin).
Where to find pink pitaya?
My cupboards are full of great food and good products to keep me on track between exam reviews, my mom’s life, my publishing and my culinary collaborations. I might as well tell you that I pay very special attention to my diet and my lifestyle.
In winter as in summer, I can count on Diego, my friend who imports very good quality organic pink pitaya called Coraçai. The fruit is mixed and then frozen in individual small bags. This makes it possible to have a stock in the freezer all year round and to pay much less than the non-organic fruit found in supermarkets. And as there is only one intermediary (Diego) we really have the right information for quality control. I’m a fan!
You can find Diego on IG with the username ilovecoracai.
This kind of recipe is what I like to do when I want to bring something nutritious to my body to fill it with energy and vitality. The little touch of Granola on top is THE little gourmet touch that brings a little crunch (I like to surprise my taste buds!). You know what I think? It’s just un-liky!
I’m sure you’ll adopt this smoothie bowl with its sparkling colour and amazing taste.
If you are also a fan of Vegan easy recipe, ready in 5 minutes and super super healthy, then you will love this energetic bowl.Print
